Our brand name, Mapi, means "I made it" in the local dialect of the Black Sea region, the hometown of our founder, Nedim Kartal. Mapi Leather is a family-owned leather goods manufacturing and leather bag product development company with many years of experience in producing high-quality genuine leather products. Our founder, Mr. Nedim Kartal, established his own company in Istanbul in 2004 after working as a master craftsman for 20 years, and began producing handcrafted leather goods. Today, Mapi Leather has become one of the leading factories in the sector in Turkey.
